Sydney- Woweeee!!!!
Hello!!! I'm back!!! Back posting on my blog....Finally! And back from the most awesome trip to Sydney for the 2010 Stampin' Up Convention! I had THE best time.
The convention was so much more than I expected and that is saying something as I had been looking forward to it for months. From the venue, to the people, to the presentations, to the make and takes- everything was amazing!!! I learned so much while I was there- all useful, exciting and inspiring. Saw and collected some fabbo swaps and projects. Pocketed four lovely new stamp sets all for free- yippee!!!. Got the chance to meet and spend time with some wonderful, talented, inspiring people and just generally have the very best of times. And when I wasn't stamping I got chance to have a look and a shop around Sydney, eat some yummy food and hang out with some cool new friends. Oh and be evacuated from my hotel twice in the middle of one night along with hundreds of other tired stampers- hahaha!!!
I came home feeling excited, inspired, rejuvinated and very much looking forward to Regionals and next year's convention......Melbourne....Woo Hoo!!!! I have made a promise to myself that next year I will be toddling along that stage collecting some sort of award- so watch this space!!!
So some piccies to share of my little mini-trip:
The bridge itself (had to get the touristy bits in)
My swap card (I managed to get 40 of these babies finished even though I was dying prior to leaving Perth)
The cutest little convention survival bags that my upline Sarah Klass made for us all
The gorgeous and lovely Sarah Klass, Sarah Jane Kale and me
My wonderful new very best stamping buddy, Hayley and I at the Awards evening
Members and honourary members of the A Klass Act Team up on stage after the Awards evening
I feel like a kid who has just returned from an awesome school camp. It really was so much fun and I am looking forward now to using and sharing all that I learned. It's time to get my craft on!!!!

Sounds like you had a blast, Louise! Love the photos! The photo on my blog is Hyde Park - it's always gorgeous there, but even more so in Autumn (I reckon). Catch up soon xx
Man, if only school camps WERE like convention! Loved hanging out with you Lou and so glad that you had a blast!
Oh and I do believe that there will be no toddling, but rather a lot of gliding across the stage from you next year - I'm counting on it!
See you next week!
